Main Headquarters (Varanasi)

The Main Headquarters of the Normohi Akhara, located in the sacred city of Varanasi, serves as the spiritual and administrative center of this revered religious order. Deeply rooted in the Sant Sampradaya tradition, the Normohi Akhara is known for its commitment to devotional worship (bhakti yoga), spiritual knowledge (gyan yoga), and ascetic discipline (vairagya).

Branch Ashrams

Haridwar Branch – Normohi Akhara

Located on the banks of the sacred Ganga, the Haridwar branch of the Normohi Akhara serves as a vital center for spiritual learning and religious practice in northern India. This ashram is especially active during the Kumbh Mela, where it participates in shahi snan (royal bath) and spiritual gatherings with other akharas. The branch conducts daily worship, satsangs, and initiations, maintaining the traditions of simplicity, devotion, and scriptural study. Haridwar’s spiritual atmosphere makes this branch a key location for both resident sadhus and visiting pilgrims.

Ujjain Branch – Normohi Akhara

Nestled near the banks of the Kshipra River, the Ujjain branch is another spiritually charged center of the Normohi Akhara. With Ujjain being one of the four sacred cities of the Kumbh Mela, this branch plays a central role during religious processions and festivals. It acts as a retreat for sadhus engaged in deep meditation (dhyana) and scriptural discourse, continuing the Akhara’s emphasis on the inner path of devotion and renunciation. The branch also engages in community service and spiritual outreach, strengthening the connection between the Akhara and the local population.

Nasik Branch – Normohi Akhara

Located in the holy city of Nasik, near the Godavari River, the Nasik branch of the Normohi Akhara represents the Akhara’s western presence. It comes alive during the Nasik Kumbh Mela, hosting saints and pilgrims from across the country. This branch upholds the Akhara’s focus on Vaishnava principles, conducting rituals, bhajans, and religious teachings in line with the guru-shishya tradition. Known for its peaceful and austere environment, the Nasik ashram provides a space for contemplation and spiritual growth, rooted in the teachings of the Akhara’s lineage.
